Re: Students on temporary visas-

We cannot just close the door on

people- and yet, to allow them to stay in fellowship opens the door to the government accusing us of fostering illegal immigration. We know that compassion does not recognize the boundaries that law imposes, but wisdom also brings discernment as to what is the right thing to do and when.

1.)  During our Resurrection Day celebration this past week, one young woman from Turkey, who has been with us for several months now, gave her life to Jesus.

2.)  We met with a precious but hurting woman from Iran on Monday. She was grateful and went home with hope, yet needing more time to process and read the Bible which she has never seen before. Please keep her in prayers and wisdom how we can reach her true needs.

3.)  Another praise is that our residency visas are submitted and we await our police appointment in early May, which if all goes well will afford us another trip to Antakya/Iskendern, Hatay Turkey in mid-May.

We would like to ask you to pray for colleagues of ours who visited us recently.. . how and where the Lord would ultimately guide them, and that the healing that is often necessary when you are suddenly told you can no longer live in an area and are not even allowed to go back to gather any belongings, would settle in their hearts.

3. Lastly, we ask that you stand with us in prayer for the finances that are needed to rent the Goshen House in the village of Lefke for another year. We pay annually and each year the rent has increased slightly.  This year we are asked to pay $4,000.00.

We want to thank you for all that you do give, and for how you pray for us so faithfully.  God bless you,  John and Lori Ingles
